USPS® Rate Change Information
The USPS®
announced a rate change which took effect on January
21st, 2024.
Key changes
include rate changes to First Class Letters, Domestic
Postcards, International Postcards, and International
Letters.
The price of
a First Class Stamp went up to .68 cents but postage
meter users will now receive a 4 cent per First Class Letter
discount making the one ounce First Class Letter Metered Rate just .64
cents.
As a
reminder the USPS made changes to some of their shipping services
last year by
introducing a service called USPS Ground Advantage®. That newer service is a consolidation of the former First
Class Package Service, the Retail Ground Service, and the
Parcel Select Ground Service.
